Funimation being bought out and absorbed into Crunchyroll is one of the biggest downfalls of the Western anime industry.
Crunchy still doesn’t have the entirety of Funi’s back catalogue on streaming
Rightstuf is DEAD
And Crunchy has significantly slowed down on physical media
Even with its faults, Funimation was a company that put a lot of love and respect into each and every license and product they aquired.
They also introduced the S.A.V.E Complete Collection sets, which allowed fans to buy the shows they love while on a budget.

please note as a fanartist who wants to respect the IP i make fanmerch of, making hoyo fanmerch is putting me at peace because they explicitly allowing taking profit from fanmerch. some other IPs has too much rules or vague, it make me anxious if i do something wrong
