Distance of 820kms, using a Diamond x7000 vertical at 10M above ground (No LNA), hearing pings from the French GRAVES space surveillance radar on 143.050 MHz which operates in a 24/7 continuous wave (CW) mode. Think it is a mix of tropo/MS propagation. #hamradio
This was a nice find, albeit in the early hours of the morning. 1802.5kHz is frequency used by ARRL W1AW, for practice transmissions. Inverted L, vertical 45ft and 100ft horizontal, with a MFJ-998RT antenna tuner. A few ground radials probably would help.
An SDR host for the SunSDR2 DX — forked from Thetis. ArtemisSDR is an additional option for SunSDR2 DX users who want the Thetis-lineage DSP stack — panadapter, filter set, NR/NB/notch toolkit, VAC routing, and the full feature set. #sunsdr
