On World Environment Day, we launched the ‘Preserving Heritage – Elephanta Island’ project with JNPA. In collaboration with Waste Matters and ConnectFor volunteers, we collected 1060 Kg of waste followed by a play on environmental preservation by Young Creative Production.

Raising awareness about menstrual hygiene is crucial for women's well-being, inculcating more knowledge and support for a healthy and happy life. A powerful street play on menstrual hygiene was performed by the Young Creative Production team at Kokari.

This was followed by the distribution of cloth bags and reusable pads to 50 women by Anita Chellaram, Pragya Kapoor and Ms Soumya Dabriwal. Reusable pads were provided by Project Baala who is championing the conversion of 300 women to use reusable menstrual pads.
