6. The UK pledged £27.5m of new funding towards the Urban Climate Action Programme (UCAP) which supports cities around the world targeting net zero through projects like low-emission public transport, renewable energy generation and new climate-smart building codes.

5. 33 nations and 11 carmakers signed a declaration committing to working towards 100% zero emission vehicle sales by 2035 at the latest in leading markets and by 2040 globally. However, the declaration was not signed by #China , #USA , #Germany or many of the large automakers.

7. The launch of Gender Equity Diversity Investments was announced, which is a $100-$500m venture capital firm that will invest in line with the SDGs and has a 200 person network of senior figures and experts.
