end of evangelion was some crazy shit
now, having just watched it NOW I can say that I feel like seeing it talked about in the way it is for almost 20 years kinda put unreasonable expectations on it for me
but it IS very striking, and impactful, with incredible iconography

It is baffling, it is revealing, it is somber, it's at a fever pitch
Lot of things going on, lot to take in
The visuals alone are very layered and there's many STRONG shots
Symbolism on symbolism going on too, where I feel it's a bit easy to get lost??
