In June 2024, we met with senior leadership from the HASSLACHER Group in Vienna to discuss growth opportunities for their Ontario subsidiary, @elementfiveco.
The following year in July, we visited their Carinthia facility where we finalized the details of their $107 million St. Thomas expansion.
The project, announced in September 2025, will more than triple Element5’s production capacity, create 150 jobs, and support the rising demand for Ontario timber.

Project Update – 35 Bellevue - Even with the snowstorms, construction is moving full-speed ahead on this 4-storey #masstimber, #affordablehousing project in the heart of Kensington Market in Toronto. Cranes are onsite and installing CLT panels as the building takes shape.
