The goal shouldn’t be to scale to “mainstream” because the mainstream is over. It’s done. Instead, focus on becoming a superstar within your niche and really own that community.
A lot of underground artists struggle when scaling mainstream because what works in niche communities doesn’t always translate at mass level.
