everyone who’s playing with 5.4 and 4.6 is in existential psychosis and the rest of the world has no idea what gibberish we’re talking about, and they’ll will be smacked in the face by end of year 2026

He’s right. Still, the work caused by useless regulations are a big drag on execution speed and make the whole thing just way less fun.

The EU is the world’s largest net exporter of high-tech goods. Germany alone exports more advanced manufacturing than the US and China combined in several categories, something even the WTO’s tech-trade data makes clear. If your bar for “good regulation” is letting crypto bros burn pension funds, you’re not making a serious point. He rants about “talent shortage,” while Europe produces more STEM graduates per capita than the US every single year according to Eurostat and OECD. The actual problem isn’t talent, it’s founders like him who mistake Twitter engagement for economic literacy.

Doch, doch ! Emanuel Böminghaus, IT Unternehmer

None of the AI reels tools that advertise organic reach at scale that I’ve found linked an Instagram account that is utilising this strategy. Wonder why.

Every quarter we learn that we still focused on too many things at the same time. It’s not that we don’t incorporate it, more that we underestimate how much less is necessary.

I would put a similar ban on my kids, but I'd respect other ppl taking a different decision for their children. Such a law is bad for everyone on multiple levels. Except the government, who can control information given to kids easier now.

lots of German founders take this kind of advice. it's part of why we're not producing inspiring stuff anymore
Smart people should aspire for a better lifestyle than living penniless with roommates in a tiny apartment for a decade. You should want to have it all. Lifestyle, family, work, health, hobbies. Choose all five.

We need a European @elonmusk to reform the EU and make it less woke and more efficient. 🇪🇺

It's magic to me how stable big numbers are. So much growth and churn at the same time, huge changes in individual behavior, not impacting the total when zooming out.

the goal is to make $2-3 million liquid from multiple consumers apps, then dedicate 5-10 years doing something more sustainable & potentially VC backed cash flow brings clarity, it buys time, and it builds experience

Typical reaction by ppl in a market (consumer apps), when famous ppl enter: they trash it and act defensively, bc they find it unfair that others might be more successful just through their distribution advantage rather than being masters of their craft.
"There is no return policy on your credibility." @MKBHD went from the source of truth on tech products to selling basic png's for $50 a year. Morals aside, it's a bad business maneuver.

the only reasonable thing to do in most of Europe. taxes on everything, social security, regulations requiring advisors, tariffs. effective taxation is 70% for sure, even for lower income. Ppl don’t get it bc not all of it comes in the form of a letter that states “taxes”.

I'm leaving France for a low tax country because last time I reached $10K monthly revenue (average, not MRR), it didn't even allow my ex and I to get a mortgage for an apartment. Then I burned out.

Memes are great. Since ppl can’t read anymore, they are the only way of communicating non simple concepts. This meme in our paywall makes me 3k per day more than without.

15 minutes on X make you think all ever possible consumer app ideas are being built within the next week. Maybe I need to fix how I’m wired. I see the logic of building in public content being motivating, but most of it seems net negative for me.

You have a problem, so you decide to raise some money. Now you have two problems. So you hire some people. Now you have three problems.
