We want to inform you that the chain will NOT be sunsetted today.
The reason is straightforward: there are still user funds on the blockchain, totaling a little over $200,000, and we cannot responsibly shut it down while those funds remain.
The main challenge is that if users do not withdraw their funds themselves, we will need an alternative solution. We prefer to avoid this, as it would require temporarily receiving user funds on Elys Network and then automatically returning them to their original network.
Accessing someone else’s funds—even briefly and solely to return them—is a sensitive matter. We understand it may eventually be necessary, but the less capital handled this way, the better. (To be clear, we will need a chain upgrade to do so; we don't have such an ability right now.)
In the meantime, the chain will continue operating to give users more time to withdraw their funds.
Later today, an article explaining how the transition will work will be available.
Things are moving, and it's time for you to learn more about it.
To all Liquidity Providers: please remove your liquidity so we can sunset the chain and focus all our efforts on Ryze!
