Someone said to me that people who have many thoughts running round their mind are more likely to raise their voice. Sounds plausible. But is it verifiable? Like, how do we know how many thoughts folks are having when they are in the middle of a tricky exchange?

I remember a Mrs Greenhalgh from school. Nice to hear the name pronunciation explained on national radio.

I am the kind of person who reads the patient information leaflet. And I am also the kind of person who got a weird reaction to a new medication. Glad I read it!

Critical thinking is important, charge up your bullshit-ometer. There is a lot of it around and it has really got to me recently. Folks with power who appear wilfully ignorant. Such communities are not safe. Disconcerting.
I hate playing the upper hand of “I am qualified in X” because really we should talk about stuff and qualified people can have gaps in knowledge or fallacious arguments. But sometimes when someone is spouting nonsense it stops them in their tracks. Recalling a few such occasions.

It is not always welcome having light evenings. Like when I am tired, especially days when we have already been to the park, and the kids ask me if we can go to the park again.

I just want to be able to cycle around without the fear of being killed while doing that. Similarly I would like to breathe without the air being toxic. Two issues important to me when I vote.

Just noticed that child's worry monster has toenails. An impressively high level of design detail for such a toy. Credit to toy designers who insist on these things!

I've heard two stories recently of very fit runners breaking their legs. One stood in a dip - broken femur. One kept running with shin splints - broken tibia. Scary stuff.

Spotted someone I know in some online videos of a gym class - wow she is strong!

Found an old friend living other side of continent when I was recommended a buy/sell/swap group in that country. Odd how it happened. But so lovely to reconnect!

Pondering the advice given to someone to act in a particular way which for a neurodivergent person would involve having to mask. And then telling person off for masking. Hmm.

Thought it was July and that I had missed US Independence Day. Thankfully no, still June. Phew!

No, I don’t want to use your WhatsApp chat bot. The current communication channel is working fine for this exchange. Thank you.
