Compassion: I was consistently struck by the immense feeling of care and compassion for every person involved in his death. The professionalism, but also humanity of the professionals involved in his care. Itโs difficult to express the extent of my gratitude to these people. 5/

MAiD will not be appropriate for all people or all situations. It is difficult to talk about, and naturally an emotional issue. There are ethical questions which require a conscientious approach. However, I know if I was in this circumstance myself, I would want the choice. ๐งต/6

This is a thoughtful read about Medical Assistance in Dying from a Canadian provider. My father chose #MAiD in 2019 due to rapidly progressing terminal cancer. I am a staunch supporter of MAiD in these circumstances. 1/4
