what's the best open-source codex-desktop-like apps? any pwa's? cli's are holding us back walking around with your laptop open is stupid (for a lot of reasons) you should be able to pick up everything anywhere from any device cli's are bad for this

i tried using fable to orchestrate opus workers and they worked for 40 minutes then it launched another batch of workers and set another 40 minute timeout i stopped it and told it it had to finish on its own in the next 5 minutes, and it did not sure what i learned here

i don’t pay for claude max anymore so i haven’t tried fable but in my gut i really don’t believe it will be better than gpt 5.5 at doing what i actually want it to do instead of wasting millions of tokens doing something slightly related to what i asked for

are "domain modules" a thing? they'd be context dumps: discoverable like skills, retrieved based on prompting, but not specific to a task/workflow. deeper than general memory, but less nebulous than wiki graphs. or do people already use skills like this?
