it’s quite conservative but it was the first LP that started a curiosity that went from Brazil and Cuba to Nigeria and Mali and much more. Taught me not to dismiss anything.

Post an album that changed your musical outlook. Not just my outlook. This album (along with David Toop’s essential text, Haunted Weather) completely changed how I listen to music and my whole philosophy around the use of empty space and silence in art. 1/2

Listening to Divine Symmetry against the Hunky Dory Mainman pressing. It’s ok and Bombers is great but the Queen Bitch/ Bewley Brothers finale just doesn’t compare.
