There is no form of the “mid” because ‘midness’ is a partial, concrete privation of the ‘beautiful.’ Forms denote ideal content, and as such, there is only the form of the “beautiful,” “the just,” and so on. There is no form of the imperfect or ‘unideal’ as this would entail a contradiction in terms.
