It feels like software engineering is cooked when you’re already a proficient engineer. Then you watch non-technical people vibe code something and realize you’ll be just fine. Yeah the bar is higher - but that’s literally all of the history of technology.

Don’t believe anyone that says you can just clone an app like MacroFactor and make $20k a month easily. These apps aren’t easy to clone. Sure you can vibe code the basic stuff in a weekend, but the real value is in the details, which takes much longer and is much harder.
