I really do think some of the mob fights in cavern of remembrance is a better showcase of KH2's gameplay than doing revenge value shenanigans on the data org
man I like KH3's gameplay but I really don't like a lot of videos of people gassing it up cuz its just flashy combos that you would never actually do unless you were specifically trying to look cool
that kind of thing just doesn't really do it for me
the coolest thing about KH discourse is that while we never agree on how the games should play between new and old, at least we are actually talking about the fucking games and not forever arguing over if women in games look ugly or underage like the rest of gaming discourse
I do have to reiterate that I don't care if someone wants to use sims, its when it becomes the expectation in pf that it starts affecting everyone
I don't want pf raiding to be fresh prog groups disbanding because they didn't clear the fight in 5 pulls
its probably disingenuous but
"how is using a 9th man different from running a sim"
this is like basically the same argument as "how is cactbot different from someone in your group doing callouts"
just in case anyone actually thinks this is a legitimate argument (doubtful)
one is a human that also has to learn the mechanic and is capable of making mistakes
the other is not
hope that clears it up
it really feels like there's a sense of entitlement, like "if I'm stuck on a mechanic for weeks or months, its clearly the games fault, so I'm justified in using sims"
looking back I think dark riku was one of my favorite fights
pretty difficult to learn but also feels maybe the most dynamic of all of the fights, he kinda just does whatever he feels like
oh you countered my counter? Understandable, die
"I have to wait in party finder for 10 hours a day for one pull, you don't understand the stress I go through, every moment of this game is misery" I dunno man I raid in pf too and its not like that I think you just don't like raiding
People comparing raiding to like playing an instrument or playing a sport kinda like exposes the mentality
I dunno if people are aware, but raiding is playing a video game? You do it for fun
