RECONECT partner #Eurosense successfully executed a #lidar survey flight on the demonstration site in #Hamburg with a very high point density of more than 20 pts/sqm. This allows to use the #dataset for #3Dvisualisation and computations of #water #retention #capacities.

The new Copernicus Data Access Service Contract was signed today between @esa and @tsystemsCom, which leads a consortium of @CloudFerro , @sinergise, @VITO_RS_ , @acri_st, @DLR_en , @rheagroup.
I am pleased to see such an effort to unify European competences for a common goal.

Guido Lemoine from JRC (@EU_ScienceHub) used custom interferometric processing on 1630 Sentinel-1 images over Ukraine to show coherence changes from crop growth, though the images happen to pick up war damage as well.
