I am deeply honoured and humbled to share that Senator Moodie has awarded me amongst the recipients of the King Charles III Coronation Medal to leading Canadians who have left an indelible mark on their communities through medical innovation, advancing education and shaping policy. Surrounded by many incredible and inspiring Canadians, whose dedication, service and excellence have shaped our nation, I stand here beaming with joy and full of gratitude. I thank all of my colleagues at @TOPublicHealth, for without them, none of this would be possible.

Today I was joined by the Dr. Lamptey & @TOPublicHealth's Indigenous Health Team for a film screening of “The Pass System” for National #IndigenousPeoplesDay. Thankful for the chance to learn & reflect on some of the harmful policies that Indigenous Peoples have had to endure.
