The NYC Comptroller has formally recommended to 3 public pension boards that they search for a replacement to BlackRock to manage their $42 billion in pensioners' savings because BlackRock is failing on investing for a safe and healthy future. We love to see it!

🚨: @bradlander today announced recommendations to end $42 billion in investment with BlackRock, as it leads funding of fossil fuels. It’s now time for our pension trustees to follow Comptroller Brad Lander and deliver pension funds that don’t invest in our city’s destruction.

As many of Vanguard President and CIO Greg Davis’s friends and peers arrived at the fundraising gala, they were greeted by EQATers holding banners and signs calling on Davis and Vanguard to do better and invest like they actually care about our children’s futures.

In the morning, five of our F/friends went to the office building where @Vanguard_Group executives work to ask that CEO Salim Ramji meet with representatives of the #VanguardSOS campaign. Instead of speaking with them, Vanguard had the group arrested. eqat.org/press-release/five-…

So, in the afternoon, many more of us showed up at @Vanguard_Group to rally in support of those arrested and reiterate the request for Vanguard leaders to meet with campaign representatives. We shared song, speeches, and silent worship. @afsc_org @StopMoneyPipe
