The media wants you to be angry about people on benefits potentially receiving more than the average full-time worker. (They don't anyway, because the calculations were based on something like a family of 6 with 4 severely disabled kids claiming every benefit available including ones that can't be claimed simultaneously). In reality, this is the real problem and it's proof that trickle down simply does not work. At least not for ordinary citizens.
As you're reading this — literally right now — FTSE 100 CEOs have just been paid as much as an entire year's wage for the median full time worker. After just a couple of days back. I haven't even cleared my inbox yet.
