If you are coaching this generation, you will need to lead through connection. Fear can produce short-term motivation, but coaches with relational equity will see sustained motivation in their athletes. The challenge? It takes time and emotional energy to do this well.

Kudos to the athletes who sat through all 5 hours of this nonsense. These athletes missed training sessions. Missed a physio appointments. Took a day off work (which they need to pay for szn). Who stuck it out because they want change. #push4change
