Simple Solution to the H1-B Debate: Companies that hire H1-B employees should pay a tax. At the end of the day, that job could be an American's job, but if it's not, it's fine; shit happens. Just cough up a tax for each one you hire and this will prove that its not about the money you're saving.

11/15/21 On the topic of religion I'm not interested in debating whether religion is real or not. I feel like that's not the point. Anyone who is religious is usually finding motivation to be a better version of themselves; that's something I can't argue against. I do believe, though, that it can be dangerous and enhance a person's ego, giving them a sense of being grandiose. I personally like where I stand with "God"; I see it as there has to be something out there, but I don't think anyone really knows what that is exactly. There are too many religions to believe that anyone is telling the truth, although I'll have to admit that the idea of being able to accept one as truth and believe that when I die, I'll know exactly what will happen is tempting as fuck. I plan on understanding this because it seems very easy to say, "Yeah, I already know this." So, trying to be clever makes you less clever? Maybe thinking you are witty limits your thoughts, and you are blinded by ignorance and uncertainty. So, in order to be witty, one must know that he is not witty. Believing in it or seeking it might only force one to block out new ideas, almost as if it's a wall that gets built around one's thoughts. When this wall gets hit, out of insecurity, one helplessly tries to build it back up. We should tear the wall down, reach across, and see what comes from it; only then will wittiness exist.
