Micron Technology (NASDAQ: MU) on Wednesday said it hired Reston, Virginia-based Bechtel for the first phase of its semiconductor-manufacturing campus in Clay, north of Syracuse. Micron started prep work for its first fab back in January.

Syracuse and Wake Forest will open their 2027 football seasons at BMO Field in Toronto, Ontario. It'll represent the first time two American schools will open their football seasons in Canada, per the SU Athletics website. The ACC and ESPN Events made Thursday's announcement.

Micron Technology on Friday awarded nearly $35M in grants for CNY organizations under its agreement to build a semiconductor-manufacturing facility in the town of Clay, per Gov. Hochul's office. The awards include $2.2M for Centro to create a bus route from Syracuse to Clay.
