Went to the #WaltDisney Family Museum for the “Preserving Pixie Dust: Inside the Walt Disney #Imagineering Art Collection” presentation. Great insight to how they Conserve Capture Catalog Curate their artwork. They also shared newly scanned artwork of never-created attractions

We picked up this Illustrated map of “Walt’s Los Angeles” highlighting several relevant places to #WaltDisney. I first saw this illustration in one of the museum galleries. Thought it was cool. Apparently, now it’s available in the gift shop at the @wdfmuseum.

We visited the oldest temple in #Tokyo. #Sensōji in the Asakusa District is a beautiful place, rich in history, originally built in 628 AD. It was rebuilt after WWII. And as busy as it was with tourists, it was nice to still be able to find some quieter spots for reflection.

While staying in the #Roppongi district, #Tokyo we "experienced" a Don Quijote / #Donki store. It's a gigantic, sensory-overload of a store with a various products: souvenir magnets to certified Gucci purses, to hydrating face masks, to hand tools. Like woah! Have you been?

Believe it or not we went to a Big Boy (Not the same but still enjoyable) Like many of the restaurants we visited: 1. Pull a paper # with a QR code to get seated 2. When # is called, you scan the code & get assigned a table 3. Order food by tablet 4. Food delivered by robot

Picked up a pair of glasses from Zoff (Locations all over Japan, this one was at Ikspiari, #TokyoDisney Resort). They can give you an eye exam and fill your single-lens prescription all in about an hour. These were about US $77 (duty free) all inclusive. Amazing.

The merge from the pre-show at the new Peter Pan attraction at Fantasy Springs, #TokyoDisneySea is equally as bad. Surprised they haven’t somehow corrected it. On our first round we hadn’t even exited this area before the next batch came out and made things worse.

Every day we took the Disney Resort bus from Disney Ambassador Hotel we would pass by the Oriental Land Company headquarters. I should have known they would be very close to or behind the #TokyoDisney parks.

They had some cool "western wear" at Westernland at #TokyoDisneyland Check out the cool Mickey stitching pattern on the Denim Jeans ($?) and Jacket (about $240).

I don't dcollect "souvenir medals" but these are the ones I did pick up while at #TokyoDisney — If I happened to have coins, near a machine, and appreciated the design. [And how does anyone take photos of their "pressed pennies". This took some effort to make these readable 😆]
