I’m happy to be able to finally share this collaborative work within the @crc1333 where we use neutron scattering and molecular dynamics to understand how solid surfaces change the rate of forming acid decomposition. Check it out! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…

Congratulations to Erik on our newest paper in Organometallics. Erik showed how preequilibria are important for forming active catalytic intermediates and why you should always report concentrations and not just equivalents of ligands for catalysis. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/acs…

I was a teaching assistant during my PhD for Prof Brus 13 years ago for his Gen Chem class and I’ve been saying ever since „when is this guy going to get his Nobel“. Congratulations Prof Brus! Very well deserved!
BREAKING NEWS The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences has decided to award the 2023 #NobelPrize in Chemistry to Moungi G. Bawendi, Louis E. Brus and Alexei I. Ekimov “for the discovery and synthesis of quantum dots.”
