Eva Birkofer (@evabirkofer) was absolutely sensational in two games at the Division II-A state tournament.
Birkofer totaled 41 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals.
She was 14-of-26 shooting from the floor and 11-of-13 from the free-throw line.
Just outstanding.
Eva Birkofer was just a third-grader the first time PCA (@PCA_WBB) played for – and won – a state title.
She often envisioned herself doing the same.
Her dream became a reality Saturday as the Lions knocked off USJ for their second TSSAA title:

I couldn’t be more proud of my team. None of our wins were one player shows. Everyone played a vital role & we couldn’t have done any of it without each other. Big shots and amazing d from every player on our court. Lady Lions = teamwork!
