I had a solid outing in a 0-6 loss to a good hitting team yesterday. I went 6 innings, struck out 7, walked one, and gave up only 2 earned runs. My pitches felt very good especially my splitter. I had a good outing today in my final high school game of the season vs okaw valley. I had 11 strikeouts and only walked 3 and gave up 6 hits in 6.1 innings. Whenever I came out in the 7th inning it was still 0-0 but I had two runners on that scored so I was credited with 2 earned runs as well. Had a great outing yesterday in our final regular season game of the year. We won 7-2 against oak wood and I had 12 strikeouts and walked 1 and gave up 5 hits and 1 earned run. The game last night lowered my season era to 1.975 and brought my record to 6-1 on the year. I also hit a double so overall a great day. Excited for playoffs to begin next week and see how far we can go. @POMalley_NCSA @CoachHelms_NCSA @NCSA_Baseball

Had a great outing in a 9 inning victory vs a big time rival, Arcola, 5-3. I threw 7.2 innings before running out of pitches and in those innings I had 9 strikeouts, only walked 2, gave up 6 hits, and only gave up one earned run. I threw 107 pitches and 71 strikes. I also had the tying sacrifice fly to take us to extras and had the game winning catch. So during some very high pressure situations I found a way to get the job done. Had a great outing yesterday in a conference win, 7-1 vs central A&M. I had 12 strikeouts, gave up 0 walks and only gave up 3 hits. I didn’t have the gun on me but velocity wise I felt very good and think it was the hardest I’ve thrown this year. Threw all 7 innings in a 0-2 loss to Clinton last night. I once again generated a lot of weak contact in 2 strike counts and struck out 4. None of the runs I gave up were earned and I only gave up 3 hits. I also went 1-2 at the plate with a hbp. Didn’t have any video today.@CoachHelms_NCSA @NCSA_Baseball @POMalley_NCSA

Had a nice outing today in a conference win vs Shelbyville 10-3. I had 4 strikeouts and gave up only 2 walks. I got myself into a bunch of 2 strike counts where instead of striking the guy out I generated weak contact with off speed pitches as they were a good hitting team. Had a great outing today in a 5 inning 12-2 run rule win vs St. Teresa. I had 8 strikeouts while on giving up 2 walks. I didn’t have the gun on me today but the velocities felt the same if not higher. To add to a good day pitching I also went 2-4 at the plate with 2 rbi.
