Rev share models SEEM like they are a good idea But in reality they are complete garbage for 99% of agencies Why? Because you’ll sign a client that spends like $100-$300 a day on a webinar funnel or something And then make F*CK ALL money because they are spending fuck all money But You have to do a TON of work for them still because its a rev share deal Even with a base, the risk is on you. And you’re burning time on a deal that will barely pay you anything And the best part is, you will “turn off acquisition” so you can “maximize your clients results” One or two churns and you’re back to square one Horrible model unless you have a MOAT, pipeline, AND high spending clients

I ALWAYS build a projection for every client before i spend a single dollar on ads... Most of you aren’t doing this I pretty much need to know the breakeven cost to make these ads work and if any of the ads CAC go above that I IMMEDIATELY cut it One-way trip to brokie town if you don’t know your numbers

You should never be scared to run ads if you have the budget If you crack them they’re pretty much an unlimited money printer The only thing you have to worry about is ad fatigue really Just rip it

Been f*cking around a lot with static ads recently They COOK If you can just spell out your offer into a few lines it gets straight to the point and creates interest (which a 1x1 static ad forces you to do)

Quickest way to unlock more cash without changing your offer: Literally just expand your market Stop bottlenecking yourself into a tiny market You can pretty much sell your service into similar adjacent markets as long as the pain points are the same Say you do cold email for B2B SaaS, you’re just getting new leads for them Why can’t you do that for financial firms? or recruiters?

You will PRINT money if you just have 3 things: • Big market (Lot of prospects that have money and you’d work with) • Good Offer (Easy to understand, low risk, gets prospect their dream outcome) • Good ads (variety of ad formats, good copy that ties deep into their problems, good positioning of your solution as the vehicle that gets them there) Add in an actual good product and you’re printing some long money

The way you can pretty much test if an offer is going to cook or not is if you can slap an ugly ass creative up and think it’ll still work Your offer should be easy to understand, shift the risk away from them, easy to implement, doesn’t take too long to achieve the dream result, and it’s BELIEVABLE

Unit economics are so important when it comes to ads You need to know your numbers EXTREMELY well How much you’re acquiring a customer for, how much you’re spending to bring in a lead, the breakeven level of your ads

Whenever we write ads we normally don’t ONLY rely on “direct callout hooks” Which is just stating your offer / outcome in the hook Everyone tries to copy cole gordon here but he can get away with it because most people in the space know who he is and his business You want to lean into pain points from the get-go so people resonate with it and continue watching Not that many people are going to stop and watch simply by calling out their biz model

Biggest lever right now on ad accounts: Testing more ads. More messaging. More formats. More styles. That solves so many problems

A lot of prople are very stupid That’s why it is astonishing when you think about it that the car accident rate is as low as it is Like the majority of people make horrible decisions So the fact that people don’t run into eachother left and right is wild Idk random thought
