20 yrs ago, 3 profs (Ricciardi, Larsson, Hendry) were hired to conduct research & teaching at the Redpath Museum, Canada's oldest natural history museum. Our time in this venerable building has now ended, as renovations begin & we relocate to @BioMcGill. @EcoEvoEvoEco @evodevoeco

Kieran was a great colleague and friend. He was my neighbour at the office, and I'm going to miss his sense of humour dearly. #CMNPalaeo
We are mourning the passing of recently retired Curator of Palaeobiology Kieran Shepherd. Over more than 30 years, he left his imprint on many significant paleo projects, while sharing his passion for #fossils, museums and #naturalhistory with students, scientists and the public.

A follow-up to a fun project with @josavilac just published! Supports Ice Age sea levels as drivers of barriers to gene flow between Pacific and Caribbean crocodiles.
Researchers from @mcgillu discovered that while changing temperatures and rainfall had little impact on the crocodiles’ gene flow over the past 3million years, changes to sea levels during the Ice Age had a different effect. mcgill.ca/newsroom/channels/…
