6. Time Release Escrow (TRE) Hook: A way to pay for long running leases (or other services) without being scammed. Set the duration of the escrow and the maximum amount payable over the period. Client pays the cap amount into escrow. The escrow ends when the time has expired or either side cancels the escrow. When the escrow ends, a % of the cap equal to the % of expired time is paid. It is a novel way of doing micro-payments, but with one final transaction instead of hundreds or thousands of tiny ones.
