TL;DR (For the lazy):
The mousepad is marketed as a Control pad, but upon use it sits closer to a balanced leaning control, and it is very well made.
The Jacquard surface delivers a consistent, raw glide across both X and Y axes without the resistance you would expect from a control pad.
The build quality is also very good given the current price, the Poron base they use is very sticky, and even if you have a table with texture, it will stick to it.
Could recommend if you are looking for a faster control mousepad with raw texture.

Base:
The Poron base is pretty much the same base as the one used by Solstice with their Aura drop, which is very sticky, and on my textured table, it sticks very well and does not budge at all, and requires some effort to move it.
As for the firmness, the base is soft, providing decent stopping power, especially when pushing into the pad.
Surface/Glide:
The Jacquard weave gives the surface a raw, it has a natural texture, the glide feels smooth, consistent across all axes.
There is enough stopping power to handle precise micro adjustments, but it never feels sluggish. Flicks feel natural, tracking stays consistent, and it doesn't fight your movement at all.
Final thoughts:
I was not expecting much going in, but I ended up enjoying the mousepad. For 39β¬/$ you're getting a premium Poron base, clean below surface stitching, and a Jacquard surface that feels different from your typical cloth pad.
The raw texture and balanced glide makes it versatile enough for pretty much any playstyle, and the build quality at this price point is hard to argue with.
If you are someone who wants a balanced-control mousepad, this may be an interesting pick for you.
