The world is too busy with conflicts in Gaza/West Bank, Ukraine and the South China Sea right now to notice this tragedy unfolding in Afghanistan. Almost 2m Afghan refugees are being forced back home (on a few weeks notice)
Today I am at Torkham, on the Afghan border with Pakistan, where 10s of thousands of Afghans have gathered, having been expelled from Pakistan. >2,000 families have crossed here in the past 24 hours. We’re seeing perhaps the largest forced expulsion in the world since the 1950s.

It's out! Months of research and tons of coffee later, "Deadly Pattern," the report I wrote for the Committee for the Protection of Journalists was released to the world. My findings reveal how the #Israeli army whitewashes its killings of journalists. x.com/pressfreedom/status/16…

The Islamic Republic is using a computer system called SIAM, which works behind the scenes of Iranian cellular networks, to track the movements of individuals, break the encryption of phone calls and invisibly quash the protests, internal documents obtained by @theintercept show.

Berlin. Now. This will be the largest anti Iran regime protest outside of Iran in the history. 3 weeks ago Toronto broke the record with 50,000 people taking part. This will be larger. #MahsaAmini

This is today in Azad university and the student wrote only one sentence: “Be our voice”. This is a message to the free world. Iranians are getting killed for protesting over the brutal death of my #MahsaAmini but as you see they are not giving up. #مهسا_امینی
