✨I’m officially rebranding to FABLEBEAST Fursuits!✨ • I was originally known as FireDog Fursuits but I’ve been wanting to do this for months and I’ve finally decided to go for it! I came up with the original name of FireDog Fursuits a few years ago when I wasn’t in a good point in my life (had a lot of major life stuff happening and was not great mentally) which has over time given me a bad connection to that business name and I’ve sort of secretly hated it for like 2 years straight now, I even got embarrassed to say it when people asked what my business was called lol 😅 I also didn’t really have a fursona back then either so the logo was just a generic wolf/dog character with firedog underneath it but now I have my fursona Mantra and a whole personal suit of her and everything so I wanted her to be the main mascot for my fursuit making business and have her front and centre on everything!! 🥳 This feels like a massive weight off my chest and I’m so exited to finally have whole new fresh look with my new branding, website, and social media and I can’t wait to make loads of stickers, business cards, maybe even Merch?! 👀 💖 • Let me know what you guys think! 🌈✨CFz 2026 Recap!✨🌈 Wow! What an amazing weekend!! My first ever CFz and first ever furry con was an absolute blast! Even though it was insanely hot 🥵 I had the best time and met so many amazing people, I cannot wait to do it all again next year! 🥳 Main highlight for me was of course getting the opportunity to take my first ever FableBeast family photo!! I’ve always dreamed of this since I started taking commissions so it was such a huge full circle moment for me 🥹💖 everyone was so so kind about my suit and my work too and it really made me feel like what I’m doing was worth it, also seeing all my suits running around the convention was absolutely amazing! 🥹🫶 Thankyou so much to everyone that stopped to say hi or asked to hang out, I truly felt so welcomed and couldn’t believe the amount of generosity and kindness within this community, furries are such wonderful people <3 I will post some more photos soon but for now just leaving this here, and I already cant wait for CFz 2027! This!!! Material cost is a sliver of my suit prices. Most of what you're paying for is...me - my time, my skill, my knowledge, my art style, my customer service etc. Fursuit prices are set by maker demand and their cost of living. It's a real job and needs to be treated as such.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for a fursuit travel bag that fits full digi suit? Been looking at different duffle bags and stuff on Amazon but not sure which to go for yet 🤣

Throwing in my 2c Premades have a huge place in this fandom. And here are my reasons in no particular order. ✨️I use them to experiment with new species, color combos, designs, even new techniques. They put food on the table while allowing me to make whatever I like alongside custom client work. I dont /have/ to follow a ref with premade work if I dont want to. ✨️Making premades in my down time, between commissions, or leading up to cons keep my skills sharp! During slow months when the clients aren't biting I can still use my skills to create. ✨️Most of my personal characters were at one point premades I either kept or bought from others/was gifted. Seeing a premade and feeling like "this is the one! This is me!" Is such a fun experience. ✨️Premades can give someone a fursuit without the heartbreak. In a world where there's a *greater than zero* number of makers who fail their clients, it can be hard to trust artists to deliver custom work (this is a whole can of worms I've opened before) and buying a premade can cut out all that worry. ✨️Premades are a great into to suiting. Maybe you don't have a character yet but you want to see what all the fuss of suiting is all about. A premade can give someone a reason to jump in and might even lead them to eventually commissioning a character of their own. In conclusion, premades are just as good as custom work. There's nothing less creative about them whatsoever. Makers who do custom work only are cool Makers who do premade work only are cool Makers who do both are also just as cool.
