The truth is, I firmly believe fat bodies should be portrayed the same ways other bodies are, as a normal part of a story, no obvious fetish/stereotypes written into their character (like always being the comedic relief). Which is why I feel like I’m betraying this w what I draw

I’ve been worried I’m a hypocrite for drawing fat characters in completely non fetish related contexts while also drawing fetish content.
Because of the way people treat it, I know for a fact ppl would treat my nsfw stuff as a betrayal.
It’s sad that people think of it this way

Like, I’ve had lots of people say they’re happy to see my fat ocs and in my head I’m like “they’d be so upset to see I drew weight gain/fetish stuff” bc I know people would assume my fat ocs only exist bc I have a fat fetish, which is NOT at all the case? Idk this shit worries me
