We are saddened by the passing of Michigan State University’s former First Lady Dolores Wharton, a passionate advocate for the arts. She was a wonderful person and joy to work with as we helped steward her collection.

Winter is here and so is our holiday light collection! Bins are located at our drop-off center now through December 10th. The city of East Lansing also has a collection at their recycling drop-off center until January 12th. cityofeastlansing.com/307/Ho…

Winterization is in full swing at Beal! 🌲🧊🌿
Our team has been working to transport plants from the garden to the shared @facilitiesmsu greenhouse. Some plants are not able to be moved & cuttings from these plants are propagated. By May/June they are replanted in the garden.

Beal Scholar Madelin Snook spent her summer working to eliminate invasive and non-native plants in the garden and around campus. For her scholar project she compiled a list of invasive ‘culprits’ and plants to keep out of your garden. 🌿🌱❌

Over the summer, our team at IPF installed new hammock posts all over campus.
Take advantage of the weather, grab a blanket, and enjoy the peaking fall colors in a cozy cacoon along the Red Cedar. 🍂
