I'm outta here.....if anyone is inclined, you can find me pretty easily in other places. Same name. 😍

Trying to decide if Twitter is worth my time. I'm trying to examine how I spend my limited time and pick the things that have value. It's a struggle to see value in tiny messages like this. How do you feel about this place?

Soooo.... apparently there are only 24hrs in a day. This doesn't match well with my long list of hopes and dreams. @DocBrownLloyd any suggestions on how I can gain some time?

Klipper for 3D printers running on an PC platform..... what is the best way to connect accelerometer for input shaping? I saw some USB boards but it seems like the cable would kill accuracy.
Why are complicated things so difficult?

I have flown (and piloted) so many aircraft for 40 years. Each flight still fascinates me. 500mph at 35,000ft in total comfort. It still feels so new.....so fun.

Project graveyard. It's time to purge, re-group, and find new challenges. This goes into my archives.

Subtractive manufacturing. 300 extremely precise metal parts per day. Additive manufacturing offers 4 rough plastic parts per day 😂🤣

My first week with a 3D printer has taught me a lesson: They are more addictive than crack. It has been running around the clock and I am already looking at buying/building a couple more. Maybe a Voron 2.4?

Finally joined the 3D printing community. After designing a bunch of assembly tools to be CNC machined from aluminum, I realized 3D printing would work even better and cost a tiny fraction of $. First day paid for the printer. It's a cheap one...but does the job. I'm hooked.

This looks peaceful but about a minute later an F15 Eagle was blasting through below the ridgeline. Pulling hard G's to get around the corner without staining the side of the mountain. I was WAY too slow to get a photo.

I escaped the Factory400 dungeon to see a show at the Hollywood Bowl. Pet Shop Boys and New Order create an amazing spectacle!

My last active prototyping tray. Everything else has been slowly migrating to hibernation. I ❤️ electronics and hope the industry returns to a condition where a small player like me can make it work as a business.

No, I don't cut paper with scissors like a caveman. I use a laser like Buck Rogers.

When you are old, but still like to party on a Saturday.....you get a CNC machine and shred heavy metal.
