BREAKING: The DC Circuit has DENIED the Trump administration's emergency bid for a pause of Judge Cooper's order, meaning Trump's name must come down tonight.
They did request further briefing, so the issue is not completely settled, but for now no "Trump" on the Kennedy Center @MSNOWNewsms.now/news/judge-denies-ken…
BREAKING: Judge Brinkema in EDVA has granted a preliminary injunction, blocking the DOJ from taking steps to create the “anti-weaponization” fund. She wants a sworn declaration that the Trump admin is not moving forward with the fund - signed by both the AG and the Treasury Secretary - by next week. @MSNOWNews
JUST IN: The Trump admin just filed its emergency request for a stay with the DC Circuit. They're asking the appellate court to pause Judge Cooper's ruling by 7pm.
If they grant the stay, Trump's name can stay. If they don't, Trump's name must come down by tonight. @MSNOWNewsms.now/news/judge-denies-ken…
NEW: The judge overseeing Comey’s “8647” case in North Carolina said she will not accept amicus briefs. She says both Comey and the government “are ably represented by competent counsel.”
Judge Mehta says this weekend’s UFC fight can continue as planned because it’s just too little too late.
He says the plaintiffs likely don’t have standing - not enough that they find the claw “grotesque” - and too much time and money has been spent on the fight.
Judge will weigh Pentagon’s ‘retaliatory’ press policy — again
The New York Times brought a second lawsuit, specifically challenging the DoD’s escort policy, which restricts how and where reporters can access the Pentagon. They call the policy “retaliatory” @MSNOWNewsms.now/news/judge-will-weigh…
What’s going on with the “anti-weaponization” fund cases?
On Wednesday, federal judge in DC denied a TRO, but issued a stern warning.
Today, the case heads to court in VA, where a judge has ordered a temporary block (could expire today) and FL (original IRS suit) where Trump must respond to the judge’s questions about alleged collusion and deception in the settlement agreement that yielded the fund.

BREAKING: Judge Leon has DENIED a bid to immediately block the "anti-weaponization" fund.
He was "not persuaded" there was a live controversy, citing DOJ's repeated statements - in public and in court - that they are not moving forward with the fund.
He left them with a stern warning, though: "Don't play possum with this court!"
@MSNOWNews

Grand juror pressed the prosecutor on whether there are "any new actual facts" on the second attempt:
"I heard this case like last week and I thought it was a crock of shit then and I still think it is."
“The administration had embarked on a new kind of fishing expedition — not for dirt on the people they did not like, but to find a prosecutor willing to file charges based on the threadbare evidence they already had.”

In appeals court fight over the White House ballroom, DOJ says the federal government could quickly bulldoze the statute of liberty and no one would have standing to sue over the changes once the demolition is done.
JUST IN: DOJ apparently for the first time indicates in writing that it is not moving forward with the "anti-weaponization fund."
In a new court filing, the DOJ says the Court should not grant a bid to block the fund-- "not because the Fund will continue (it will not), but to protect the government’s institutional interests in the proper application of Article III limitations on judicial review." @MSNOWNews
An appeals court is now weighing a decision on whether construction should be allowed to continue on President Trump's controversial White House ballroom project.
@falgallagher shares more on what she heard inside the courtroom.
