When Chapters 3 and 4 released I genuinely beat them within the day not dying a single time (Knight kicked my ass but like. Obviously) and it made me realize that Toby designing the game around a singular difficulty and having 1 Optional Hard Boss a CHAPTER was hurting the game
i saw someone say that there should be more fights as hard as the knight but mandatory and i swear to god if toby did that i'd kms cuz that wasn't very fun at all actually i like my games being fun not just dying 50 times to the point where i don't care about the dialog anymore

i know "hard mode" is like a joke in the community because of undertale but like i really feel like deltarune would benefit from a difficulty option just so the "this game is too EASY" crowd can be happier cuz what if toby listens to them and make the game harder for EVERYONE!!!
