These old linn speakers really only do come alive above 100db, they are being fed from an marantz amp with a wolfson dac through handmade speaker cables, amp is being fed 16 bit lossless via optical. The sound is just so crisp and clear. Sound stage free and open.

I should learn that rebooting the OCLP iMac is never a good thing. It’s shaky af to boot. Needs a usb mouse plugging in to turn BT on.
