designed the svgs in figma and then built the animation and movement in cursor, this was SO fun to work on because I knew the animation would land in prod exactly as I intended

wrote a little case study over the weekend about the domain verification on Cloud.
it’s an unglamorous flow everyone has to go through but nobody loves. I wrote about how we redesigned it to feel less ambiguous, less fragile, and more guided.

I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept):
Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow
