This evening, the president posted this, literally presenting himself as Jesus. He’s not doing anything to stave off the anti-Christ allegations. If any Democrat president did this, Evangelical Christians would implode. But will they speak out against this? I highly doubt it.
I'm a journalist and attorney, not an activist, so I've no answers on what Americans should do right now.
I only know this: Donald Trump is attempting to incite a civil war so he can cancel all future elections, and he will keep executing citizens until that outcome is achieved.
Donald Trump will spend Christmas Eve with his billionaire friends at Mar-a-Lago on the taxpayers' dime.
Barack Obama spent his Christmas Eve as President surprising kids at a children's hospital. Don't forget what real leadership looks like.
"What I really want to do is take the state of the art right now and see how far that actually gets us toward solving real problems" says @UCSDHealth Chief AI Officer Dr. Karandeep Singh in this terrific interview with Fred Bazzoli in @HDMmagazine (1/2)

A few takeaways from my #RareDisease patient/advocate perspective.
Many in our community do leverage these tips, others may benefit from considering as we share our stories:
ALT Screenshot of notes (1 of 3)
know who you’re asking/speaking with in the media. Do recon/leg work to make sure the story is a good fit for a publication
-looking for real solutions, so send something that actually makes a difference in healthcare. Get them some real information and not just a press release, and they’ll take a look at it.
-identify your why within the first two paragraphs, have a well written pitch, make the headline grab/catch
ALT Screenshot 2 of 3:
looking for stories…don’t want all of the data necessarily, where a particular audience doesn’t speak that language.
-Consider who’s impacted before you pitch.
-relationships are important…build them
-quality over quantity…this resonates with the readers
ALT Screw shot 3 of 3:
quickly explain at the top of the press release why they’ll be interested…don’t say they’ll be interested first (maybe end with that)
-for TV, it needs to be new content…where is the story, how can we turn it, and how do we get the person they need to talk to. Be available.
-human connection is what matters to people…how do they feel when they consume? Make the human connection. It’s so important.
This thread goes beyond just the notion that clinicians are "burning out" because of burden. Healthcare has a moral imperative to change this vicious cycle to save and support its caregivers, not turn away from it.
Burnout maybe can be repaired & reversed over time. This cannot.
The suicide rate among physicians is the highest among any profession, and more than double that of the general population.
Nearly every doctor graduates from residency with some degree of PTSD, and no one wants to talk about it.
Thanks so much for the kind responses, they have overwhelmed me. Unfortunately, I just can’t keep up. I will try and come back and read them all when I have time.
Now is not the time for doing something about bear attacks. It is time for coming together with thoughts, prayers, and platitudes because I do know one thing, I represent the greatest, most God-fearing district in this whole country.
We need to look at why these bear attacks keep happening. I hate to say it, but we need to look at ourselves as a society. Why do so many bears seen mmm more violent today? Is it a sign of mental illness or a lack of Christian values in their upbringing.
At the same time we can’t allow a small number of isolated bear attacks to take away our freedom. This is not the time for radical liberal solutions that won’t even stop a determined kodiak or grizzly.
