First day of hybrid completed.....and the part I’ll remember is the kids that just wanted to share their life stories b/c they finally had someone to listen. Academics are important.....but health/safety, and Social-emotional well being has to come first! #senseofbelonging

I love it when kids come to intervention and say “can I show you the video I found last night that’s all about area and perimeter?” Kids spending their free time watching educational videos makes my heart happy.

A reluctant learner who’s not feeling confident with third grade fractions asked to meet at an extra time today. By the end of our quick work time, she wanted to teach me! Building that growth mindset and student agency one student at a time! Makes my heart happy!
