We really need to start telling ourselves better stories. More honest stories. And completely stop telling others. Not just cop shows (and super hero movies). So many of the stories we keep telling and retelling are just full of old, terrible, harmful ideas.

Working at a record store was the best job I ever had, no contest. Too bad I didn't know it at the time. I would have stayed longer, which also sucks because what came next definitely wasn't an improvement.
