💯 agree
I’m sure we have all now seen the footage of Metropolitan rozzers kicking a suspected terrorist in the head, repeatedly, when he was down. We can all play a part in putting an end to this sort of police brutality. Mainly by not going around stabbing people.

This is the type of legendary thinking I love 🤣
Why don’t ocean going cargo ships just drag a big net behind them catching fish. They could then sell these when they reach their destination port offsetting some of their fuel costs. Seriously, do I have to think of everything.

The absolute joke roads are, in Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas no one is checking workmanship plus net zero wallies make the tarmac have at least 20% recycled material no wonder it’s falling apart
Replying to @alexbeckett
@alexbeckett just wondered if you had any thoughts on the workmanship of your road laying gang on the a1101 last Friday? The tarmac they threw at it, before going to the pub at lunchtime, lasted 24 hours.

Here is footage of the armed police raiding my home late on a Friday night thanks to Zia Yusuf's lies - now Farage's choice to be Home Secretary. All supported by the Reform leadership, supported by Farage. On the 14th March at 21.30, armed police arrived at my home unannounced - three vehicles, with four armed officers. I am a farmer. I own guns. All entirely legally and properly. The previous day, I had arranged with the police to voluntarily give up my guns because of Yusuf's lies. I was not impressed then to have armed police suddenly arrive on my doorstep late at night. The officers stayed until 23.38. They confiscated my guns and left. It took so much time as I have a large collection, so a wheelbarrow was required. Of course, everything was dropped and I got my guns back. Yusuf's lies put my family through this ordeal - supported every way by the Reform leadership. Today, we find out it all happened because Farage didn't like my comment on mass deporting foreign rapists. The day he announces Yusuf as his potential Home Secretary to lead the police. If he did it to me, he'll do it to you too. This man is not fit to lead the Home Office. None of them are fit to be in Government.

Absolute madness! Patients evacuated from a French hospital after a live artillery shell was found in a patient’s rectum A 24-year-old man arrived late at night at the emergency department of Rangueil Hospital in Toulouse, complaining of severe pain. Doctors discovered a World War I–era artillery shell about 20 cm long lodged in his rectum. The munition turned out to be live and unexploded, French media and Daily Mail report. Due to the risk of detonation, staff and patients were urgently evacuated and the area was cordoned off. Bomb disposal experts and firefighters were called in. Specialists deemed the shell safe and removed it during surgery. Prosecutors may open a case for illegal handling of explosives. The man will be questioned by police. The reasons the shell ended up in his body have not been officially disclosed, though local media cautiously hint at “personal circumstances.” This is not the first such incident: unexploded munitions from the world wars are regularly found in France, and in 2022 a hospital was evacuated over a similar case involving an elderly patient.

A tragedy these heroes are nearly forgotten
In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade. On this day in 1983, a TV series of these brave men was broadcast for the first time.

Love toast of London
Can't believe I've haven't offered you any Toast (of London) before. How remiss of me! Anyway, here's the opening scene of season 1, episode 4, entitled Submission, which is rather fantastic. As many of you will be aware, Matt Berry considers himself a musician first and an actor second. He's signed to the Acid Jazz label and has released about a dozen records, including an album of TV theme covers, including Sorry, Are You Being Served, Doctor Who, Blankety Blank, The Good Life and Picture Box, to name but a few. I have it downloaded, don't you know. The Blankety Blank cover's ace. Anyway, up periscope!
