Angry, embarrassed, devastated, ashamed — probably all of them at once.
Max and I have travelled the length and breadth of the country this season, pouring time, money, energy and emotion into following Saints.

It feels like we’ve been left embarrassed and emotionally drained.
The worst part is knowing thousands of supporters gave absolutely everything to follow this team, and tonight it feels like it was all for nothing.

Right now there’s no perspective, no “next season,” no positives to cling to. Just disappointment, anger and that horrible empty feeling you get when something you cared so much about ends in complete deflation.
