We will be hosting our first Garw Valley cross country event between 3.30pm and 4.30pm at the rugby field in Park Street, Pontycymer on 18th March. For any child in Years 3 - 6 who would like to take part in a cross country race. We hope that you can join us. @BlaengarwP

Congratulations to Alice who won the Bridgend Rotary Youth Speaks competition last week, after a writing and presenting her speech,‘Bee nice to the bees.’ We are very proud of her, as she competed and won against 10 other schools. Da iawn to everyone who took part. @BridgendCBC

A huge congratulations to Niall for being selected to play for the Bridgend Schools District Rugby Team this year. His team won the DC Thomas Cup Final at the Principality Stadium earlier this term and Niall was part of the winning team. Da iawn!

We will be hosting a Big Community Coronation Coffee Afternoon on Thursday 4th May 2pm - 3pm. Come along for a cuppa, cake and Mr Ellitt's general knowledge quiz. All welcome - please share with family and friends. No entry fee, but we will be collecting donations on the day.

What a treat we had yesterday when 13 musicians from @BBCNOW visited our school for a very special concert. We thoroughly enjoyed their performance and we looking forward to more opportunities to listen to their music in the future. Diolch yn fawr!
