Free2move, FIAT, and Ample are revolutionizing electric vehicles in Madrid with Europe's first car-sharing fleet that features modular battery-swapping technology. The Fiat 500e, enhanced to integrate Ample's swappable batteries, can recharge in under five minutes, significantly improving urban mobility efficiency. This collaboration promote sustainability by increasing fleet availability and reducing reliance on traditional charging stations. Currently, 40 Fiat 500e vehicles are deployed, with plans to reach 100 by mid-2025.
