I’ve been “on” pretty constantly for the last three months. It was 3 months ago that husband asked me to take him to the ER for gastritis and we came home with a cancer diagnosis.
Two surgeries and initiation of immunotherapy checkpoint inhibitor later, I can see my stress.

It’s like people expect me to rend my hair out and start crying and I’m just like…
It’s just an undercurrent of our every day. No one is crying or freaking out. I’m just always “on”. I’m a fixer so I look for things to fix or make better. This house is so fucking clean.

Anyway, all that to say, I’m alive, I’m doing okay just kind of stressed, and I’m going to be a silver fox by the time this is over with.
And I really, really want to work on my fanfiction. So bad. And I’m gearing up to work on it a bit, so maybe…something will happen soon.
