the singularity is coming, it is written. naturally, that’s terrifying. i’m sure we were terrified when we stumbled across fire. but what else are we to do? simply sit here in the cold wet sand waiting to extinguish? it’s quite likely that we are the only dim flicker of consciousness in a vast universe. i’m not waiting around for the eventual day we blow ourselves up or some natural disaster wipes us out. so we accelerate as fast as is humanly possible. with the sole aim of dispersing super intelligence far and wide. i do not wish to go into the night quietly.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ let’s roll the dice.
