Another thing I'm noticing is Fable hallucinates files a lot. I thought we were well past that at this point?

Fable frequently stops mid work to offer options and talk about time trade-offs of how long things will take to implement. You're an AI model dude, it's all the same amount of work to me. Do the obviously good thing!

I'm finding that Fable still needs a lot of hand holding compared to Codex. Fable's training seems to be that humans are still required to make decisions, so it throws up these multiple choice prompts when the choice is already obvious. Codex would have just shipped it.

Some of these Claude statuses are getting kind of weird.

"Give me those plus a Stripe account and it's about a day of work" 🤣 Days pass very quickly in AI time.

Fable seems pretty great. I've been strong on Codex the last couple of months and this is a solid leap forward from Anthropic.

Looks like Mythos performs about the same as Opus 4.7 on claude code tasks: anthropic.com/institute/recu…

Gemini has quietly developed a way better personality than ChatGPT. Just tried it again and was pleasantly surprised by its warmth and conciseness.

There are so many cool companies applying to YC. It's such a privilege to meet so many incredible founders and gives me great optimism about the future.

Imagine playing credit card roulette with this beast. Double the gamble.

We created a card that sometimes doesn't charge you. Buy Now, Pay Maybe.
Community note
The Tuyo card is a Visa debit card for spending USDC stablecoin. The "Buy Now, Pay Maybe" feature randomly covers some purchase costs, but probabilities are not disclosed. It is self-custodial, with no traditional banking protections like FDIC insurance. apps.apple.com/us/app/tuyo-bu… tuyo.com

12m context 52x faster. Impressive claims from SubQ. The algorithms are going to get better and better. We’re still so early.
Introducing SubQ - a major breakthrough in LLM intelligence. It is the first model built on a fully sub-quadratic sparse-attention architecture (SSA), And the first frontier model with a 12 million token context window which is: - 52x faster than FlashAttention at 1MM tokens - Less than 5% the cost of Opus Transformer-based LLMs waste compute by processing every possible relationship between words (standard attention). Only a small fraction actually matter. @subquadratic finds and focuses only on the ones that do. That's nearly 1,000x less compute and a new way for LLMs to scale.

Two agents, one branch, zero dignity. Three months into running multiple AI coding agents on the same project, here's what I learned about why it falls over and what to do about it. finbarr.site/2026/05/05/trea…

Deep in application reading. I watched a youtube video from one team and forgot to close the tab after. Came back an hour later to this unexpected and very wholesome live stream of some nesting storks with chicks in Bad Salzungen ❤️ youtube.com/watch?v=Dr5zebXp…

While I've been using Codex for most of my coding recently, Claude is still undefeated at writing. GPT tries but Claude just gets it.

Thanks @OpenAI! Shame there wasn't this much capacity for the party, but I appreciate it 😀

I think it's pretty bad that OpenAI and Anthropic haven't gone public yet. There's huge innovation happening in America and most people in this country don't have any access to it. Instead all the value is accruing to big tech and late stage venture funds.
